Santa's come for a visit and children wait patiently so they can tell him whats on their wish list. One little girl stays back with her parents, while her brother runs ahead to see what Santa has in his bag.

Snowflakes begin to fall and everyone wants to get their time in on the ice. Three young boys race through the crowd of people that have come to skate on Holly Hill Pond. Little Rosalia is hard to miss in her bright jacket and brand new white figure skates.
A young girl and her brother check the mailbox to make sure their letter made it to the North Pole in time for Christmas. Their ponies watch intently as a snowman family moves in and guests arrive. Snow flurries begin to fall just in time for Saint Nicholas

One horse open sleighs carry families on their way to Christmas Eve festivities. Others gather in small groups to discuss the evening candlelight service. While the adult go about their business, they are oblivious to the commotion in the sky above them. Only the children hear a jingle and look up to see Santa and his team of reindeer starting their long journey.

off to an early start.
Windows glow with candlelight and large snowflakes fall gently on the guests that mill about outside the Copper Candle Inn. "On Our Way to Christmas"
As evening approaches and families head home, windows glow invitingly with candlelight. Christmas is just around the corner and every building
in this little village is decorated with bright red ribbons and greenery. Children gather to build snowmen and dream of Christmas morning.
Horse drawn sleighs carrying aunts, uncles and cousins arrive for Christmas Eve dinner. Candles glow warmly from each window and a tree is displayed in a large window, inviting the family inside for a holiday celebrationHome for Christmas.
While a family contemplates cutting down a tree in the field above, others choose from the fresh cut trees at Kringle's Tree Farm. Mr. and Mrs. Kringle greet a young girl as her parents and brother look for the perfect evergreen.
"Skating on Fox Run Mill Pond"
While three children warm up by a small fire, others take advantage of the full moon and freshly shoveled ice at Fox Run Mill Pond. A pair of foxes wait patiently for everyone to finish up so they can hunt for their evening meal.

As people finish up last minute shopping, the angel
on one store blows her horn in anticipation
of Christmas day.
A full moon and twinkling stars bring a sense of peace to this small town. While parents arrive with some of the youngest children, others take their place in the manger for the annual Christmas Pageant; something my own sons participated in when they were young. Getting a dozen children prepared was always a bit crazy (to say the least) but in the end, everything came together creating the most anticipated event of the year.
It is the week after Christmas and many
have received new skates.
A young man chases after his girlfriend
as a mouse taunts a cat to
Catch Me if You Can .
Warmer temperatures and soft snow make a perfect day for sledding. Unfortunately, the conditions also make it perfect for packing snowballs.
While several children begin their descent, two mischievous boys armed with snowballs take aim with perfectly formed snowballs as their dogs join in the fun
With the clock on the church steeple reading 8:00pm, there are only 4 hours to go until the new year. As families skate under a full moon, a young boy rides a small sleigh, pulled by his pet goat, and blows his horn to welcome the new year.
It's a few days before Christmas and it's just started to snow. Anticipating a storm, everyone is out doing their last minute shopping and getting their Christmas trees. Two children have just spotted the old toy maker shoveling a path and after reading the sign, wonder if it might be Santa.
It's Valentines Day and love is in the air in this cozy seaside village. A sailor has just arrived home after spending months on the ocean carrying a present for his girlfriend. Off to the right, a captain greets his family with a heart shaped box. Is it candy?....or could it be a treasured Sailor's Valentine? As two young children stop to talk, even their dogs get into the act.
"An Early Visit from Saint Nick"
Candles glow softly in the windows and even the church in the background is lit up, most likely with carolers inside rehearsing for Christmas Eve service.
Saint Nicolas takes center stage and is quickly surrounded by captivated children wanting to see what might be under their tree on Christmas morning.
"The Spirit Of Christmas"
A tradition in this little town is that on the Sunday before Christmas, Santa stops by to visit the children after church. The big surprise is that he's actually driven into town with his sleigh and two of his trusty reindeer. A small crowd develops as he asks one little boy if he's been good this year. Children wait their turn as their parents watch and begin to feel the spirit of Christmas.
Families head home under a full moon to get ready for dinner and finish up evening chores. Taking advantage of the brightly lit night, several children head outside to finish off their snowman only to encounter and unexpected visitor. A young boy, led by his very curious dog, decides to investigate the bearded, portly old man dressed in red,
walking alongside a reindeer pulling a sled full of packages and toys. His little brother and sisters peek from behind their snowman.
As the days get longer and the temperatures rise, smoke
and steam pour from the sugar house as a young boy
helps his Grandfather carry in another bucket full of
sap. Another young boy empties the tree tap
buckets as his father pours sap
into the large barrels.
Frosty nights combined with warm daytime
temperatures have caused the sap to run, quickly filling
up buckets attached to maple trees. Three generations work together collecting and
boiling the sweet liquid, knowing that the
end result will be well worth their labor.
It's warmed up just enough to soften the snow and make a snowman! While three children put the finishing touches on one, their brother rolls a large snowball just in time to start another. Others take advantage of the higher temperatures to take a sleigh ride and
enjoy the flurries.

Christmas is just around the corner and this town is bustling with last minute shoppers. Just above on the left, a farmer brings his horses in for the night while in the field to the right, children get in a few more runs with their sleds before dinner. As the pastor of the little white church waves at a family traveling by, down below, there's commotion as a gentleman dressed in red with a sled full of toys passes through.
With only one week before Christmas, the hustle and bustle of this beautifully decorated town has peaked. Clouds
begin to disperse, leaving an opening for the full
moon to cast carolers, others return from shopping
and two young boys try to catch
up with Kringle’s Toy Shop sleigh.
Warming temperatures and melting snow signal its time to collect sap. While one young boy helps his grandfather carry buckets, his other two grandchildren stay occupied visiting the two gentle oxen attached to the sled. All look forward to a pancake dinner with generous amounts of maple syrup.
