A full moon shines down on this barn that's come to life after evening chores. Horses wait patiently as their passengers enjoy a Friday Night Hoe-Down. The barn is so full that some couples have moved outside to dance. A farmer arrives with his large family loaded in a haywagon. As they begin to unload, his oldest daughter has gone ahead to meet up with a neighborhood boy.
Two little girls feed the ducks while their brother sails his toy boat. Across from them, a family unpacks their wagon and begins to set out picnic baskets brimming with food, bowls of
apples and a jug of lemonade.
A woman hangs several of her new quilts outside in hope of attracting customers. While a customer stops at the quilt shop to inquire about prices, another stops by a parked wagon
to catch up on town gossip.
April showers bring May flowers and in this village, everything is in bloom. A couple out for a carriage ride stop to visit a friend and admire her flowering arbor while a little girl purchases a bouquet of flowers for her mother.
Seagulls soar overhead as quilts flutter in the gentle ocean breeze. Sunshine and mild temperatures have drawn people out for a stroll on the beach. As a woman stops to share the town gossip, her husband and dog take a nap. They both realize they might be there for a while.
Sunshine breaks through the clouds causing the afternoon temperature to rise. Children gather around the ice cream cart that has been brought
outside of the ice cream parlor. No one can resist the cold, creamy treat of a double dip cone.
The Morning Star has docked and the crew begin to unload their lobster traps. Two young boys carry a basketful of clams down to their Grandfather as he untangles a fishing net. Seagulls flutter about , hoping to steal one of the tasty shelled delights. With the bounty of lobsters , clams and fish that need to be kept cold , the Ice Wagon is a welcome sight.

A trip to grandpa's and grandma's farm is always anxiously awaited, especially in the spring when there are baby animals. While chicken's and their chicks peck about in the barnyard, children become enthralled with a new foal.

on a sunny 4th of July. While a proud rooster leads the way, he is followed by a young boy and his pig, two brothers playing their bugle and drum, their sister
riding her prized pony and two young children driving their goat. A german shepard runs alongside as a goose and her goslings bring up the rear.
Springtime brings baby animals including chicks,
piglets, and lambs to this busy barnyard. While
children pay a visit to meet the newest member
of this barnyard menagerie, the mother of the
newborn lamb keeps a close eye on her baby.
Water falls gently from the Old Red Mill, creating ripples on the clear, blue pond.As a young boy pushes off from shore, swans approach from both sides, anticipatingthat the children have brought scraps of bread for them to snack on.

women shop, their husbands gossip and
wait patiently. The owners dog and cat
greet customers as they arrive.
Flags flutter in the gentle ocean breeze while homes decorated with red, white and blue signal that Independence Day is here. Two young boys, wave their flags proudly, as they march towards the bright red popcorn wagon for an afternoon treat.
Colorful canoes line the grass in front of Reggie's Bait and Tackle, welcoming the many vacationers that visit the Adirondacks each summer. While a young girl visits with the horse parked in front of the store, her brother shows off his catch of the day.
Pails in hand, a farmer walks towards his barn to get ready for evening chores. Taking up the rear, his two children make sure none of the cows
get side tracked.They are successful until a curious calf decides to wander over and meet a new friend.

The afternoon sun heats up the day, drawing people
to the pond at Goose Mill.As two boys enjoy their toy sailboat, a grandfather helps his granddaughter
unhook a catfish. Holding tightly to his mothers hand,
a young boy moves towards them cautiously, while a mother goose warns him to keep his distance.
Birds begin to gather at freshly painted birdhouses placed outside "For the Birds" workshop. As one woman points out her favorite, another family considers bringing home a small birdhouse. Their son seems more interested in the dog thats greeting the children passing through on their ponies.
Horses, cows and sheep graze peacefully in the patchwork of fields that cover the valley. The sun shines brightly on golden fields where the hay has already been brought in as down below, a family rakes piles of hay and throws it up on the wagon.

Although there's a cool breeze, it's warm enough for a walk on the beachor a ride in town. With the light wind, it's a perfect day for Mr. Wiggins to show off his newest Whirligigs. A young boy picks out a sail boat with a
pinwheel up front as his mother catches up with neighbors.
As a family arrives and unloads their buggy for a stay at the Frisky Mermaid Inn, a captain and his wife join their grandchildren for a stroll on the beach. A bucket formaking sand castles and a toy sailboat make for an eventful day. In the foreground, “Ships Ahoy!”

It's pet day at Maple Grove School and excitement is in the air as children arrive with a large variety of animals. While their teacher is introduced to a little girls Teddy Bear, a a boy waits patiently with his dog. Everything from dogs, kittens, a pony, a pig and a very stubborn donkey will be included in todays
show and tell.
Growing up on a horse farm and making hay, we could always count on a late afternoon thunderstorm. This family rushes to get in the last load before the rain starts. With the first lightning strike behind the mountains, it looks as though it's going to be a close call. While we had many close calls.
While ships float across the bay, a young boy tests out his toy sailboat and three children, anticipating an adventure, push off in their small but sturdy dinghy. Seagulls, hoping for an afternoon snack, keep
watch on the rough waters below as business as usual

The warm weather of late spring encourages people to come out of their homes and enjoy a walk in the sunshine or even a long weekend at The Castaways Inn. With more people outside, an ice cream vendor takes full advantage of selling his sweet treat. As he hands a young boy his triple dip cone, his dog waits patiently in line.

in on the fun.
Bright sunshine heats up the day as families head home from their annual Independence Day Parade . Taking advantage of the people that will be passing by, children have set up a lemonade stand outside their very patriotic home. There's nothing like a parade and ice cold lemonade on a hot summers day !
Mid summer has arrived, bringing with it a large variety of colorful flowers. A young girl pulls a cart full of her gardens bounty, hoping to make some sales.
While her little brother rides along, her pony has
decided that the small purple flower on her
hat looks like a tasty treat.
As their grandmother brings a bouquet of freshly cut flowers to a friend that waits under the arbor,
her grandchildren have assembled in her garden
for a picnic. Their two dogs stay close,

hex sign for his new barn. As he settles up with the
artist, his wife and daughters wait in their
wagon where they are welcomed by
several very curious dogs.
"The Welcoming Committee"
Innkeepers of the Captain's Quarters wait just outside their residence as guests arrive. In the background, a clear sky and full moon, light the way for a ship heading out to sea, followed closely by a large whale. While a father and his son move to close up shop, the young boy points out a shooting star in the clear, evening sky.
Fireworks explode, brightening the evening sky, causing the towns people to stop and gaze up at the magnificent sight. The "Liberty Fireworks co." wagon heads home, job well done for another year, as children ride into town followed by others brandishing sparklers.

After a long day of fishing and beach-combing, a family heads back to their matriarchs home for some freshly fried crab cakes and an ice cold glass of lemonade. Their grandparents dog and two cats greet them also
hoping for something good to eat.
While her parents finish up chores at the farm above, their daughter realizes that three lambs have followed her to school. As this seems to happen every spring, it's become somewhat of a nuisance. Some children peek over the fence and others notice as Mary introduces the triplets to a friend. Keeping the students attention will be difficult with the adorable newborns just outside their window
With the warmer weather, Barn Star Antiques has opened up it’s doors andbrought some of their treasures outside. Bored with having to tag along on a shopping trip, children gravitate towards the basket full of puppies. As one young boy tries to talk his mother into bringing home a new pet, his father appears to be taking a nap in the shade of his buggy.
"Antiques and Free Puppies"
A small group of children gather at dusk, to enjoy one of the simple joys of early summer; catching fireflies. Running, leaping and reaching, some look as though they're creating an improvisational dance. Others show off the magical creatures in their mason jars, realizing that they will have to release them soon.
As their parents finish rounding up and loading their youngest children into the back of their truck, an older son feeds the chickens while two others make sure their dog isn't left behind. The days activities begin with a Fourth of July parade, followed by a family picnic and finally, once the sun sets, fireworks!
It's a busy day at the local veterinarians. The first appointment of the day is a litter of kittens waiting for their first well check. As they are greeted at the front door,
a wagon carrying spring lambs heads their way. A young dog walker hurries across the road just in time to avoid both the farmer leading the wagon and
the pet ambulance; each carrying precious cargo.
Homespun sheep farm is open for business. As the farmers wife brings out a basket of colorful yarn for a customer to choose from, her husband chats with a women interested in purchasing one of the intricate hooked rugs. Children, uninterested in the business at hand, make friends; one with the resident barn cat and another with a curious lamb.
Everything seems to move in slow motion on a hot, humid summer day. While two men shoot the breeze a dog takes comfort in the shade of the mill.
Looking for a way to cool off, three children ride their ponies to the Old Stone Grist Mill to cool off in the icy cold water of the stream.
"Fourth of July Activities"
While three Seagulls fly overhead, others gather on the rooftop of "Gulls Landing Lighthouse" looking for handouts. While one man heads home with his freshly painted dingy, his children enjoy the ride as they tempt the scavengers with leftover crusts.
"Crookshanks Magical Elixir"
People are out to town on a sunny Saturday afternoon to pick up supplies at the mercantile or grab a bite to eat at the Black Horse tavern. It's not long before they notice the colorful medicine wagon parked on the side of the road. A crowd gathers as Dr. Crookshank stands on a podium and boasts about his magical elixir.
As a young boy finishes cleaning out the chicken coup, his brother shows off his new pony. A couple of girls from the neighborhood come bearing treats. The older of the two watches carefully, making sure her sister doesn't loose a finger as she offers a carrot to the pony, suitably named, Chompers.
After several days of rain everyone is anxious to get outside and enjoy the simple things in life. While one family enjoys a leisurely ride in their Surry, others take a stroll or stop to gossip. A young boy draws the attention of a dog as he rolls his hoop down the road.
The temperature has warmed up enough for the town's ice cream parlor to open up. Children look forward to an afternoon treat as a
young boy's pony helps himself to a mouthful
of fresh picked flowers.
